How to Use Desonide 0.05% Cream, Gel, or Lotion

Clean and dry the affected area before application.

Wash your hands before and after use (unless treating your hands).

Apply a thin layer to the affected area and gently rub in.

Use 2–3 times daily, or as directed by your dermatologist.

Do not bandage or cover the area unless told to do so by your doctor.
When Not to Use Desonide

Avoid use if you are allergic to Desonide or any of its ingredients.

Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women unless your doctor advises it.
